This is for you and I, to have some fun. Along the way, we make available the great performances of classical music history that are either not available anywhere (private broadcast recordings, audience recordings) or somehow unavailable and not in plans to be released commercially OR just crazily expensive and therefore out of reach of financially challenged schlepps like me. Basically I trawl the panoply of recordings put up by folks all over the world (via groups, blogs, you emailing me with something from your attic, etc.) and myself, then selecting the real zingers. I make up some lame cover art, clean them up, tag, upload and post.

The real aim is to feed the need for more superlative performances of music, especially in these tumultuous times which historically have led the arts into a more vibrant frenzy. That means that many of the performers featured here will still be alive and collecting wages for their work, some versions of which make this blog.

The aim, then: to more fully appreciate the artistry presented here and, although the appetite may outstrip the wallet at times, to buy tickets to these folks' concerts and buy their cds and whatever will make the money get to THEM.

Aqui encontraras musica, y algunas sorpresas de mis socios quienes aportan cuando les da la regalada gana.
En fin, esto es para hacer mas agudo el hambre de interpretaciones excepcionales de musica. Las obras de arte se van desarrollando, transformando mas al pasar por epocas de extremos y chaos; Ahora ultimo hemos visto que hay mas y mas conciertos buenísimos. Este blog esta para aumentar la apreciación de ellos para quienes ese es su trabajo.
Con eso, podemos con mas confianza poner nuestro dinero hacia las grabaciones, CD y recitales en vivo de ellos, y asegurar que el trabajo de los artistas presentados aqui no ira en vano. Hagamonos fans de verdad, y tomemos el manto de los Medici. Compra la obra de los artistas que disfrutas aqui -De algun proveedor que nos asegure que les llegue el dinero.
